3 Emme Estate Agency is based in Southern Tuscany, in the towns of Arcidosso, where it started its activity in 1974, and Santa Fiora, wher eit later opened a new branch.
It serves the area in and around the Amiata Mountain, including the towns of Arcidosso, Castel del Piano, Santa Fiora, Seggiano, Cinigiano, in the province of Grosseto and the towns of Piancastagnaio, Abbadia San Salvatore, Radicofani, Pienza, Montalcino and Castiglione d’Orcia in the province of Siena.
The Agency deals with the sale of houses, flats, properties in the old parts of towns and it specilizes in the trading of country houses, unfinished cottages, historicalrural residences and typical Tuscan farms.
Southern Tuscany covers an area of enormous natural and artistic iterest, which includes the Orcia valley, recognized as one the World Heritage places, and the Amiata Mountain,which boasts the biggest beechwood in Europe and lots of hot springs and thermal baths, among whichthe most renowned are those of Saturnia, San Casciano dei Bagni, Bagno Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo.
Moving in these places is also taste the town Pienza coma history of Pius XII, visit the abbey of St. Antimo to hear the Gregorian chant, the abbey of San Galgano, etc. ..
The Amiata Mountain is ideally located, being only at 15 minutes’ driven from the skiing facilities, about 1 hour’s drive from the popular tourist seaside resorts of Castiglione della Pescaia, Follonica, Talamone,Porto Santo Stefano, Orbetello and being quite close to some interesting market and artistic towns of central Italy (50 minutes from Grosseto, 1 hour, 10 m from Siena, 2 hours from Florence, 2 hours,10m from Pisa, 2 hours,40m from Rome).
For the above reasons the villages around the AmiataMountain are among the most pleasant placeswhere to live.
